Cusco & The Sacred Valley

sunny 24 °C

You wont find many better places in the world than Cusco. It is a great little city that really is everyone┬┤s base camp for the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu. It was a slight slap in the face being back up at altitude after our time in the amazon.

The next day we were off on a trip through the sacred valley, visiting some little towns, markets and some archeological sites from the mighty Incas. Our last sleep before the Inca Trail was to be spent in a homestay in the village of Ollayantambo.
